Make a Difference Today
The Montessori Institute of Atlanta needs funding immediately to support our efforts to bring AMI Training back to Atlanta. We are delighted to announce an AMI Primary Orientation course beginning March 2022; and, pending AMI Approval, a 3 Summer Primary Course starting the Summer of 2022! Donations to our 501(c)(3) charitable organization are always welcome.
Your donations will help us retain important relationships with GNPEC, MACTE, and the Association Montessori Internationale, along with providing startup funds for our proposed Primary Training and the new AMI Primary Orientation Course.
The Institute is now under the leadership of our new board president Lynn Nehez. Lynn is a graduate of MIA, with Primary and Elementary certification. She has worked in the Atlanta Montessori community for nearly 30 years, founding Oak Meadow Montessori School in Lawrenceville in 1993, serving on the board of the Montessori Administrators of GA for over 10 years, and serving as our Quality Rated Peer Support Network ambassador for Montessori schools in GA. She is a certified Bright From the Start trainer and she holds a BBA from GA State University and M.Ed. from Loyola University Baltimore. Lynn is eager to revitalize the Institute and support the Montessori community in GA. Join her and make a difference in the lives of teachers and children for years to come.
