Scholarships and Sponsorships

Scholarships

Montessori Institute of Atlanta does not offer financial aid, but applicants are encouraged to apply for scholarship opportunities through the organizations listed below.

The Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson (MES) Fund

The MES Fund was established in 2000 by AMI/USA to honor Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson, who devoted her life to Montessori teacher training. The MES Fund was the first financial aid fund to benefit AMI teacher trainees in the United States. The MES Fund awards partial scholarships to selected students based on financial need in the form of tuition reduction. The fund ensures that qualified individuals seeking AMI teacher training can pursue their dreams, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Black Wildflowers Fund

The Montessori Credential Grant Program at Black Wildflowers Fund helps bridge the gap and invest in the future of Black leadership in Montessori learning environments. Selected applicants will have their tuition paid-in-full. All payments are made directly to the training centers and this grant does not cover application fees, books, materials, or travel expenses.

To be eligible, applicants must: identify as Black, be located within the United States or Puerto Rico, and plan to attend a MACTE accredited program, with the exception of certain adolescent programs.
