The Montessori Institute of Atlanta is located at 1970 Cliff Valley Way Suite 250 Atlanta, Georgia 30329. Cliff Valley Way is a short road connecting the I- 85 North Access Road and Briarcliff Road between North Druid Hills Road (~1/2 mile south) and Clairmont Road (~3/4 mile north).

Driving Directions to the Montessori Institute of Atlanta

From Georgia 400:
Exit “Sidney Marcus Boulevard”; make a left
Make a left from Sidney Marcus Boulevard onto Buford Highway
Continue on Buford Highway to North Druid Hills Road; make a right
Continue on North Druid Hills Road to Briarcliff Road; make a left
At the first stop light make a left onto Cliff Valley Way
Institute is located on the right

From I-85 Northbound:
Exit “North Druid Hills (South)”
At the light, cross over North Druid Hills to continue going North on Access Road
Make a right on Cliff Valley Way
Institute is located on the left

From I-85 Southbound:
Exit “Clairmont Road/Decatur”; make a left
Continue on Clairmont Road to Briarcliff Road; make a right
Continue on Briarcliff Road to Cliff Valley Way; make a right
Institute is located on the right

From Intown Neighborhood:
Head North on Moreland Avenue
Moreland Ave. becomes Briarcliff Road after crossing over Ponce de Leon Ave.
Continue on Briarcliff Road, crossing over North Druid Hills Rd.
At the first stop light after North Druid Hills Rd., make a left onto Cliff Valley Way
Institute is located on the right  

From Buckhead Neighborhood:
Head East on Wieuca Road; this road changes names a few times until becoming North Druid Hills Rd after crossing over Buford Hwy.
Continue on North Druid Hills Road to Briarcliff Road; make a left
At the first stop light make a left onto Cliff Valley Way
Institute is located on the right

From City of Decatur:
Head West on Clairmont Road (spelled “Clairemont” in Decatur )
Make a left on Briarcliff Road
Continue on Briarcliff Road to Cliff Valley Way; make a right
Institute is located on the right

Student Parking:

Student parking is located at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta located at 1911 Cliff Valley Way. Please see the Administrator for student parking fees and payment schedule.

Event Parking:

We regret that our parking lot cannot accommodate students, visitors or guests of Montessori Institute of Atlanta between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students, visitors and guests are permitted to park on-site for weekend events or weekdays after 6:00 p.m. 

Off-site parking is provided by Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA) located at 1911 Cliff Valley Way approximately 1 block from the Institute.  Neither Montessori Institue of Atlanta nor the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta is liable for any damage to person or property.  

You may access the UUCA parking lot from either the 85N access road or Cliff Valley Way. 

Directions to UUCA from Cliff Valley Way: Enter the office complex adjacent to UUCA ("Cliff Valley Office Park").  Travel to the back of the parking lot and look for the ramp (to the right) leading down to the church parking lot. Please do not park in the office complex parking lot, as they will tow your car.

Public Transportation:

While some students may have access to an automobile, carpool or other form of transportation, others may want to consider using MARTA, Atlanta's public transportation system. Please note that MARTA does not serve all sectors of the city equally; take this into consideration as you plan where you will live.

The three major roads located near the Institute are served by MARTA bus lines bearing their names: Briarcliff #33, North Druid #8, Clairmont #19. MARTA also has a light rail line; the two closest rail stations are N6 Lindberg (served by the #33 bus) and NE 8 Brookhaven (served by both the #8 and #19 buses).

The MARTA website (www.itsmarta.com) provides schedules and routes for each of the bus and light rail lines listed above. The website also provides a system map; while Cliff Valley Way is not listed on the map, you may use the above location information to locate the lines and stops closest to the Institute.
