6. Fees

Tuition

Tuition fees are as set by the Board of Directors for each course. (See separate brochures for fee schedule.)

Other Fees and Additional Expenses

Other fees include purchase of required materials and fees imposed to offset the administrative cost of any extra services necessitated by deviations from the routine of the course (e.g., repeating a failed examination). Membership in the Association Montessori Internationale is required during all years in which a student is enrolled in an AMI training course. Additional expenses include these AMI membership dues, student supplies, and optional materials. (See separate fee schedule.)

Payment of Tuition

Tuition is preferred as one payment. Please refer to separate fee schedule for amounts and deadlines.

Financial Aid and Payment Plans

Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson Fund

The Association Montessori International/USA (AMI /USA) offers financial aid to students who plan to attend an AMI training center in the United States. Students may apply for financial aid through contacting AMI /USA directly: www.montessori-ami.org/amiusa/mes.htm. Please note: the annual deadline for application to the MES Fund is May 1.

School Sponsorship

Some schools across the United States offer sponsorships to students already accepted into training. While Montessori Institute of Atlanta does not arrange such sponsorships, we make every effort to inform students of such opportunities. Information is available during student interviews.

Outside Financial Aid

Students enrolled in the Loyola College Master's of Education program are eligible for student loans to cover the cost of tuitions at both Loyola and Montessori Institute of Atlanta. Please contact Loyola College in Maryland for more details on financial aid options: www.loyola.edu.
